Andrei Shines in Soccer: A Proud Grandparent Moment

 One of the joys of being a grandparent is witnessing the passions and talents of our grandchildren come to life. My husband and I recently had the chance to watch our grandson Andrei play in the Soccer Inter-Community Competition in Dubai. It was an exciting experience, and I couldn't be prouder of him!

A Rising Young Athlete

At just 12 years old, Andrei is full of energy and determination on the field. Watching him play on a real football ground in Dubai was a proud moment for us. He moves aggressively, showing skill and confidence beyond his years. Despite the cold and chilly weather that day, his enthusiasm never wavered—he was focused, driven, and truly in his element.

This isn’t his first time excelling in soccer. Back in the Philippines, he played for the Cavite City Football Team, where he scored an impressive three goals in one of his matches. His love for the sport is undeniable, and I see great potential in him as an athlete.

Passion, Discipline, and Balance

What makes me even prouder is Andrei’s ability to balance both academics and his passion for soccer. Seeing him in his complete soccer uniform and cleats, playing his heart out, is a reminder of how important it is to support our children in both their studies and their dreams.

I believe he has a bright future ahead in sports, and I can't wait to see where his love for soccer takes him. (Pictures to be posted soon!)
